Project Houseworks' annual Brush Up event is a powerful community initiative where volunteers come together to repaint and rejuvenate the exteriors of homes owned by neighbors in our communities. With each house, these neighbors ensure they can live safely and with dignity in homes as vibrant as the communities they’ve helped shape.
The Brush Up event is more than a day of painting—it’s a day of connection. Volunteers from all walks of life come equipped with ladders, rollers, and enthusiasm, ready to roll up their sleeves and make a visible difference. Homeowners often step outside to share heartfelt stories, laughter, and gratitude with the teams, creating bonds far beyond the event.
The ripple effect of Brush Up goes beyond a fresh coat of paint. By improving curb appeal and addressing critical home maintenance, we help homeowners stay rooted in their neighborhoods, preserve their independence, and foster pride in their homes.
