Tuesday, April 1, marks the start of Child Abuse Awareness Month. Project Harmony’s Pinwheels for Prevention® campaign serves as a reminder that everyone has a responsibility to help protect children in the community through education, support to children and families in need, and by reporting suspected child abuse or neglect. During the month of April, blue pinwheels will be prominently displayed throughout the community and distributed through select local businesses. GET INVOLVED - Help us spread awareness by sharing our Child Abuse Awareness Month posts on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and/or Twitter. Now more than ever, we understand the importance that education and awareness have in preventing child abuse and neglect altogether. - Participate in Take Out Tuesday throughout the month of April at select local restaurants (to be announced) and receive a pinwheel to display at your home or office. - Make a donation to Project Harmony to support those children who have found the courage to use their voice to make an outcry of abuse.
