Omaha by Design

Open Omaha returns for its second year on August 5th – 6th, 2023. For one weekend dozens of historic landmarks, creative spaces, sacred sites, and other hidden gems will open their doors in a city-wide showcase of the uniqueness that makes the Omaha-Council Bluffs metro such a marvelous place.  

In 2023, we will continue this behind-the-scenes look at many of the Omaha metro’s most captivating places and spaces. Through Open Omaha, we: 

1.      Open doors to the metro’s diverse neighborhoods, businesses, cultural institutions, and historic resources – inspiring exploration throughout the metro     

2.      Open minds of all ages and backgrounds to the broad array of possibilities and opportunities that exist in our metro – inspiring future leaders and innovators     

3.      Open conversations about the future of our metro and “the city we shape” – inspiring civic engagement and collaborative efforts to further strengthen our community 

Open Omaha is curated to inspire, built for all-ages, and FREE to attend.
