Every child deserves to step into the new school year feeling confident, prepared, and valued. That’s why we’re excited to invite you and/or your organization to join “Lace Up to Learn.” 

This heartfelt campaign is about more than just shoes—it’s about giving children in our community the tools they need to start the school year on the right foot. With your help, we can make this happen.

How It Works:

1. Find the Perfect Fit: In mid-June, we will provide you with the number of names requested, and shoe sizes of children in our programs.

2. Shop and Smile: You can shop for new shoes tailored to those sizes. Each pair is a step toward giving a child the confidence they need to thrive.

3. Deliver the Joy: Return the shoes to an NCHS office or arrange for pick-up between July 21st and July 25th. For pick-up, contact Leah Lindell at 402-898-7783.

4. Brighten the Year: From July 28th to August 1st, the shoes will be gifted to the children, ensuring they walk into their classrooms ready to succeed!

Your generosity ensures that children across Nebraska can start the school year with dignity and confidence. A simple gift of a new pair of shoes can empower a child, improving self-esteem and showing them that their community cares. Your gift will directly impact the lives of children in our community.
