Omaha Mobile Stage

Omaha Mobile Stage is hosting a traveling, city-wide youth talent show in Omaha, Nebraska. Competition is open to: – Youth ages 3 to 18 and youth groups – All performing arts disciplines are eligible Performances are limited to 4 minutes and are judged on talent, originality, and showmanship. Please complete the entry form and sign the waiver to participate. https://omahamobilestage.org/talent/ Registrations are first come, first served. 30 act capacity per event. OMS's 2022 Youth Talent Show Series is sponsored by Omaha Public Schools Foundation, Nebraska Cultural Endowment and Nebraska Arts Council Origin Omaha has a unique legacy of using mobile performing arts to build social cohesion. Beginning in 1952 and lasting for 59 years, the City of Omaha Parks Department operated the Good Fellows Show Wagon as a youth talent competition. In its heyday in the 1970s, the Show Wagon drew hundreds of contestants and thousands of audience members from the Omaha area and beyond. Among many who grew up, raised families and aged in the city during this time, it was a memorable and cherished feature of community life. Omaha Mobile Stage (OMS) is a mobile, community venue for performing artists of all ages, and a teaching venue to train the next generation of creative workers.
