Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of animals? Do you have skills or interests in animal care, event planning, marketing, administration, fostering and more?  Are you looking for a role that has a potential to be hybrid or even remote? Then we have the purrfect opportunity for you!

At Town and Country Humane Society, we believe in the power of community and compassion to create a brighter future for animals in need. That's why we're inviting you to join our dedicated team of volunteers for our upcoming orientation event during Do Good Days!  

As a volunteer at Town and Country Humane Society, you'll have the opportunity to get involved in various areas, including:

🐢 Animal Care: Work hands-on with our furry friends, providing love, care, and enrichment for dogs, cats, and critters. 

πŸŽ‰ Events: Help organize and execute exciting events to raise awareness and funds for our cause. 

🌳 Grounds and Facility Maintenance: Pitch in to keep our facilities clean, safe, and welcoming for our animals and visitors. 

πŸ–₯️ Office Volunteer: Assist with administrative tasks, data entry, and organization to keep operations running smoothly. Some roles may even be hybrid or remote! 

πŸ“Š Marketing Content and Creative Strategist: Put your creativity to work by developing engaging content and strategies to promote our mission. You can even contribute remotely! 

πŸ’° Grant Development: Dive into the world of grant writing and fundraising to secure vital resources for our programs and initiatives. Some aspects of this role may be done remotely. 

🏑 Foster Coordinating: Play a crucial role in our foster program, coordinating placements, supporting foster families, and ensuring the well-being of animals in temporary care.

Whether you're a seasoned animal lover or looking to gain new skills while giving back, there's a place for you at Town and Country Humane Society.

Join us at our Volunteer Orientation Event to learn more about our volunteer opportunities, meet fellow animal advocates, take a tour of our grounds, learn about our 40 year history and mission as a no-kill shelter.  Take the first step toward making a difference in the lives of animals in our community.    This is a great opportunity for students in need of hours in high school or college as well as diversion workers, corporate volunteers, always welcome! We ask 16+, otherwise must be accompanied by an adult.
