Does your employer give you a day off to volunteer?  Do you care about individuals with cancer and their access to the best treatment possible? This is the perfect opportunity to meet like-minded people from across the state who care and want to effect change in Nebraska.  

Have you heard the word “biomarker” before?  How about the term “precision medicine?”  For cancer patients, biomarker testing is key to unlocking personalized treatment options– but not all Nebraskans can access this important testing. We want to change this, and you can help.

Please join American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network at our 2025 Nebraska Day at the Capitol where you will have an opportunity to speak with your lawmaker and share the importance of biomarker testing.  Don’t worry, we’ll train you and make sure you have everything you’ll need to be successful.
