Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts

The Benefit Art Auction + Concert unites local and national artists with the organization's community of art patrons to support participating artists and raise critical resources for Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts. Benefit Art Auction tickets include admission to the auction with hors d’oeuvres and open bar. Following the Benefit Art Auction, Bemis partners with Maha to create a concert featuring indie-rock band Deerhoof, the first show in Bemis's new performance venue, which is part of the Sound Art + Experimental Music Program launched earlier this year. Doors for the Concert open at 9:30 PM. Tickets can be purchased online at bemiscenter.org/benefit. Bemis members and participating artists have the first opportunity to preview auction artwork at the Artist and Member Preview Reception on October 11 from 6–8 PM. The exhibition opens to the public on October 12 at 11 AM. The Benefit Art Auction Exhibition will be on view October 12–25 during public hours Wednesday–Saturday 11 AM–5 PM and until 9 PM on Thursdays. All artwork is available for purchase prior to the Benefit Art Auction at "Buy It Now" prices. Bemis Center admission is free and open to all.
