Surrogates for Victim Youth Conferences or the Restorative Justice Conferences
I'm Interested!
Volunteers could take part as a surrogate in a case when the victim is not able to participate. For example, when mediators have an offender meet with the victim of their offense in a Restorative Justice case, sometimes the victim is not interested in being part of the conference so the surrogate will stand in for the victim to help the offender understand how the person was affected by their actions.
