The Foster Kitten Project

Volunteer Opportunity:
Foster - Bottle Babies
I'm Interested!

This is gratifying work but also time-consuming as bottle-fed kittens need a lot of TLC. Volunteers with bottle babies must have the ability to feed them several times a day unless there is a nursing mom. Bottle feeding is a trainable skill. The most significant requirement is time availability. Also, share photos and videos with the Marketing Team to share on social media and website.

Time commitment: Neonatal kittens need to be fed every 2-3 hours, be stimulated to urinate and defecate, and kept warm. If possible, weigh kittens using a food or postal scale once a day or at least once a week.

Software: Ability to use social media to advertise your kittens and share updates. We communicate thru Facebook and Band.

Step 1: Please fill out this Foster Application if interested, www.thefosterkittenproject.org.   From the top menu bar, select  Get Involved >  Volunteer >  Foster application.
