What the Constitution Means to Me

LWVGO has been asked to table for this event, and we were also invited to be in attendance for the performance!

This event is part of the performance tour for the play "What the Constitution Means to Me" - a Tony award winning show! Heidi Schrek herself is going to be doing a modified version of the play for us, and bringing the actress from the show to do a debate and discussion.

We've been given enough tickets for 50 members to bring up to 4 people.

When: Thursday August 23rd, 2022, 5pm-8pm (built-in mingling time with refreshments, show at 6:00pm)

Volunteers: Shift prior to the show will be 4:30pm-6:00pm.
Location: the Holland Center: 1200 Douglas St, Omaha, NE 68102

Our booth: Interactive table, pushing for League membership + discussion about civic engagement.

Our focus will be on inviting more youths to become members of the League, talk to them about our mission and volunteer opportunities, and how to be engaged in the community. The producers' target audience for this event is teens and adolescents 15-25 years old.

Please sign up for anything you're up for, whether it be only volunteering, only seeing the show, or both!

Thank you, you'll hear from us soon once you've signed up.
