LFA is looking for individuals interested in helping teach group GED classes and/or tutor adults individually who are preparing to earn their GED. Our GED program is for students who are working towards the completion of their high school equivalency. The GED course of study includes all four core subjects: Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social studies. Curriculum is provided and all students are assessed prior to being placed in classes or with a tutor.

Due to Covid, classes and tutoring are offered online as well as in person. We ask that all volunteers and students requesting in person services have received the covid vaccine.
