Volunteer Attorney (Legal Clinics)

Legal Aid of Nebraska (LAN) is dedicated to making equal justice happen by providing free quality civil legal assistance to those living in poverty across the State.

Provide legal advice and draft documents for self-represented litigants in a virtual clinic setting.

Attorney obligation is limited to the clinic session – no court appearances or filing documents on behalf of the client required. Training and staff support will be available to volunteer attorneys, including substantive training in each clinic’s legal area and instructional training on the virtual platform used for the clinics.

Transgender Adult Name Changes
Criminal Record Sealing & Set Asides
Uncontested Divorces
Simple Wills, Transfer on Death Deeds, Durable Powers of Attorney
