A volunteer’s role is to provide comfort, care, and support to patients and their families by assisting staff in meeting those needs. We appreciate volunteers!

Current Opportunities:

• Infusion Clinic support
• Mentor
• Movement for Longevity Instructor/Substitute

Requirements:

• Agree to a background check, health screening, and drug test provided at no cost to volunteer
• Exhibit a patient, resourceful and friendly demeanor
• Capable of working with a diverse group of people
• Adhere to NCS standards of quality, patient satisfaction and ethics
• Be able to walk and stand for extended periods

Training:

• HIPPA and Privacy Rules training
• Environmental and Safety training Volunteer Commitment:
• Be available for at least 12 hours per month minimum for a 12-month period
• Be dependable and dedicated to fulfilling volunteer obligation
• Communicate to volunteer coordinator as soon as possible regarding an absence
