Description: The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) developed More Than Sad: Teen Depression to show young people and those close to them what depression looks like in adolescents and how it can be treated. The key aims of this 26-minute film are to help teens recognize depression in themselves or their friends and to encourage them to seek help. This session meets the criteria of an approved continuing education program for mental health practice and social work in the state of Nebraska for 1.0 hour.
