Virtual: Career and AmeriCorps Panelist

Career Panelist: Share your college and career experience as part of a panel presentation to students. Our students are exploring career fields to determine what they are interested in pursuing after college. Hearing from adults about their personal experiences and passions can open students’ minds to potential careers. This is a great opportunity to join one of our after-school sessions and interact with our students in a direct and meaningful way.

ACTIVITY: Career panels are a one-to-two-hour time commitment for volunteers and they are offered twice per year, in the fall and spring.

AmeriCorps Panelist: College Possible Omaha relies on about 33 young adults giving a year of AmeriCorps service to help our students achieve their dreams. Our AmeriCorps members are recent college graduates who have chosen to commit a year or two to full-time service to kickstart their careers. They benefit from career training and guidance as they prepare for the next step on their career path.

ACTIVITY: Talk with AmeriCorps members as a group about career opportunities and your career experience, or provide one-on-one support with career exploration, networking and resume development.
