A Time for Hope & Healing 2020 with Scarlett & JT Lewis

Join us for The Kim Foundation's annual luncheon that unites the community while furthering our mission. With the ever-changing landscape of 2020 and the importance of everyone's health and safety we have made the decision to have our annual luncheon VIRTUALLY!

The event will feature two guest speakers this year. Scarlett Lewis founded the Jesse Lewis Choose Love Movement after her son was murdered during the Sandy Hook Tragedy in December 2012. Shortly after his death, Scarlett decided to be part of the solution for the issues that were in our society, and that caused the tragedy. She created the movement and became an advocate for social and emotional learning (SEL) that teaches children how to manage their emotions, feel connected, and have healthy relationships.

JT Lewis, older brother of Jesse, received the Courage Award at the Teen Choice Awards in 2016 for being an advocate for the individuals who have experienced traumatic experiences in their lives. More recently, JT used the tragedy that occurred at Sandy Hook to bring light to the importance of school safety.

Moving to a virtual platform is not something we thought we'd ever have to consider, but we believe the need for education and awareness of mental health is more important now than ever. We are so excited to learn from Scarlett & JT Lewis and invite you all to join us from the comfort of your own home or office!

We have partnered with DoorDash, a food delivery service, to provide lunch for the event! When you register for the event, attendees will receive a gift certificate to DoorDash and instructions on how to order your lunch. Attendees can choose from several restaurants and will have the option to receive contact-free delivery.
