A Time for Hope & Healing

Join us for The Kim Foundation's annual luncheon that unites the community while furthering our mission. The event will feature two guest speakers this year. Scarlett Lewis founded the Jesse Lewis Choose Love Movement after her son was murdered during the Sandy Hook Tragedy in December 2012. Shortly after his death, Scarlett decided to be part of the solution for the issues that were in our society, and that caused the tragedy. She created the movement and became an advocate for social and emotional learning (SEL) that teaches children how to manage their emotions, feel connected, and have healthy relationships.

JT Lewis, older brother of Jesse, received the Courage Award at the Teen Choice Awards in 2016 for being an advocate for the individuals who have experienced traumatic experiences in their lives. More recently, JT used the tragedy that occurred at Sandy Hook to bring light to the importance of school safety.

Following the luncheon, there will be a conversation with Scarlett and JT from 1:30 - 3:00 p.m. with limited availability.
