Stories

Some call it stories. Others call it a blog. But here you will find nuggets of goodness to use and -- you guessed it -- SHARE!

Welcome, Candice Iberg!

We at SHARE Omaha hope that you're experiencing fresh, new energy as we enter this exciting new year.  As we shared here, our community partnerships manager Mary Talen retired at the end of the year after almost three years of great service to SHARE Omaha. We will always be appreciative of her onboarding so many nonprofits and being such a great support to our nonprofit members.

We excitedly share news of her successor – Candice (Candy) Iberg – who joined our team this week!

Candice is a passionate community leader with 20 years of experience building relationships and managing programs within the education, healthcare, and social services sectors. She values collaboration, open communication,  and positive thinking to help grow programs and relationships to the next level. After attaining her Masters of Public Administration from UNO, she began her career in California with the United Way of Orange County and the Irvine Public Schools Foundation. Upon moving back to Omaha, she worked closely with the Millard Public Schools, in addition to owning a small business.  Her most recent accomplishment includes expanding Children’s Hospital’s & Medical Center’s Visionmobile program to more than a dozen school districts and nonprofits organizations throughout Omaha and surrounding areas. Candice is happily married to her husband Jon, and they have three amazing kiddos – Emma, Landon and Parker.

Send her a welcoming email and say hi!
