HETRA's goal: $2,700 to provide 60 equine assisted therapy sessions
Heartland Equine Therapeutic Riding Academy -(HETRA) improves the quality of life both physically and emotionally of adults and children of all ability levels through equine-assisted activities. Their programs and services include adaptive riding and therapy services.
Their therapy services are conducted by an Occupational, Physical or Speech Therapist (OT, PT, ST). HETRA's Therapists specialize in Hippotherapy and have been specially trained to use the movement of the horse to facilitate improvements in their client/patient.
Currently, HETRA has an exciting fundraising goal of $2,700 to be able to provide 60 equine assisted therapy sessions.
