Hospice House Omaha - The Josie Harper Residence

**Hospice House has suspended all volunteerism and community activities due to COVID-19.** A variety of special ways volunteers have served at Hospice House: - Cookie Baking: every Thursday is cookie day at Hospice House; volunteers come in early morning with homemade cookie dough and bake cookies for everyone. - Offer a variety of therapeutic care to residents/families : Healing Touch, Reiki, massage therapy, music therapy, pet therapy, etc. - Cut and style resident's hair - Feed our friendly outdoor animals (birds, squirrels, etc.) - Sew quilts and pillowcases, crochet prayer shawls - Complete small maintenance tasks around the facility - Play music in the halls and in resident rooms - Provide community meals for residents, families, and staff If you have any special contribution you would be interested in offering to Hospice House, please reach out with the possibility!
