Social Media Coordinator
ThriVinci is seeking a social media coordinator for one of our nonprofit clients.
The Social Media Volunteer will communicate externally and build relationships
with potential and current sponsors by:
Developing OAYO's social media presence with a particular focus on:
• Keeping our social media channels updated, ideally on a daily basis
• Encouraging others to comment on our posts and share them with others
• Increasing the numbers of people following our posts on our own website and on
Facebook, Instagram and Twitter through Hootsuite.
• Promoting our membership scheme
• Building the OAYO's brand
Physical Requirements:
-Home/Client office environment, ability to sit for a prolonged period.
-Basic computer and technological ability for video conferencing software, Google, Slack, Trello etc.
-Occasional lifting of up to 40lbs dependent on role among the board, i.e. volunteer event material set up.
Time Commitment:
-Volunteers are expected to work on ThriVinci projects no more than 5 hours per week for the duration of the project.
Training:
-ThriVinci volunteers and board members will attend an orientation session with the director of operations, president, vice president or program committee chair either as a small group or One-on-One training session.
