Seamstress (as needed)

Volunteer your time and talent to MilkWorks. You can help us create a healthier community by empowering families to reach their breastfeeding goals! We provide breast pumps, clinical lactation appointments, lactation education and support to the Omaha and surrounding communities.

One barrier to reaching breastfeeding goals are vasospasms. These spasms cause intense pain in the breast after pumping or nursing. We are looking for a seamstress or sewing group to help us make polar fleece breast pads help relieve this pain for parents. We provided them free of charge to any families who need them. Both one time and reoccurring volunteers are welcome!

Relavent Experience:
• Competent sewing skills required

Recommended Tools:
• Serger or sewing machine (preferred)
• Expert hand stitching (accepted)
