Roses for Native Birds & Pollinators [Virtual Event]

Find out which roses are best for the birds and the bees! We'll also cover what pesticides are safer to use and how to use them, as well as how to acquire roses more affordably for your garden. Stephanie Barelman is a board member of the Omaha Rose Society and owner of the Little French Gardener blog. This class is part of the Growing Gardeners Urban Ag School track, in partnership with Mulhall's. We're offering this free-of-charge but donations are always welcome!

Facilitators: Stephanie Barelman & Anna Brun

This event is part of the Growing Gardeners Workshop Series, a collaboration between City Sprouts and The Big Garden in Omaha, Nebraska. Our purpose is to offer four seasons of hands-on workshops that feature skills and techniques for every gardener and urban farmer. All workshops are free to low-cost, all-ages, and no one will be turned away for inability to pay.
