We are looking for volunteers to help is in Drive-Thru style at our Juan Diego Pantry location on Monday, Tuesday, Thursdays and Fridays from 8:30am - 12:30pm and Wednesdays from 3:30pm - 6:00pm!
Volunteers are needed to:
- Participate in an orientation and training.
- Greet all customers and ensure they have a positive shopping experience.
- Effectively address customer questions, requests, and problem solve as needed.
- Keep all shelves organized, clean, well-stocked, and properly rotated.
- Assist food pantry staff by bagging loose packaged food, fresh produce, and other food items delivered.
- Assist and unload food truck deliveries from local businesses and partners.
- Assist, if requested, delivering meals to the homebound clients.
- Foster a positive work environment of outstanding teamwork, mutual respect, and effective communication.
Volunteers are required to wear closed toe shoes and clothing they are comfortable moving in.
