Sewing/Creativity Volunteers

Our "Marvelous Makers" program of creative volunteers sew, crochet, knit or otherwise craft on the following projects that arise throughout the year: 1. Veteran Recognition blankets - cut fabric, serge the edging, attach stars 2. Memorial pillows - from clothing of the deceased loved one create either a pillow case or a decorative pillow 3. Memorial Teddy bears - from clothing of deceased loved one 4. Busy blankets - create activity blankets for persons with dementia/cognitive disorders out of donated materials 5. Miscellaneous craft help- assembling and packaging crafts for resident activities If you are willing to help in any of these areas, please contact Kelly Keller, Volunteer Coordinator at 402-800-8145
