Volunteer Opportunity:
Clean Waters Challenge

This opportunity has passed.

Help protect our local and global waterways by participating in the Clean Waters Challenge!

To celebrate Stormwater Awareness Month, KOB is hosting a Clean Waters Challenge throughout the month of April!  Volunteers will receive a map of storm drains in a neighborhood, clean debris from the drains, and install a “no dumping” decal to help prevent water pollution and raise awareness. Volunteers will also share educational door hangers with surrounding neighbors, to let them know how they can take part in caring for our local waterways. Participants will receive a certificate, and have the chance to win prizes. This project can accommodate individuals or groups, and timing is flexible to the group's preferences.
