What We Do

The UNO Center for Economic Education works under the Nebraska Council on Economic Education and improves the economic and financial literacy of current and future Nebraska and Western Iowa citizens by providing educational and training programs and materials for teachers of K-12 classes.  The Center provides resources for professional development, graduate education, workshops, classroom activities and academic competitions for teachers and students in K-12 and post-secondary institutions. The goal of the center is to equip K-12 teachers with content, knowledge, and resources to teach economics, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship.
