What We Do

Project Homeless Connect Omaha is an annual community event that enables the local homeless population to access essential services such as dental, housing, vision care, personal care, medical screenings, government services navigation, employment assistance, and legal services. Over 3,500 volunteers have committed their time to making this event one the most significant events for the homeless in greater Omaha's history. The engagement and cooperation of public officials in municipal, county, and state government, as well as local business leaders and the general public, has been remarkable in creating a cooperative service strategy initiates a first time action for many of the area's homeless.

In 2017, over 539 of the area's homeless made their way through over forty service providers as well as medical and dental staff.
In 2017, portable ultrasound equipment saved two people who may have died on the street without the test.
We've provided over 300 sets of dentures and 500 pairs of glasses in the past ten years.
