Preserve Omaha

At Preserve Omaha (formerly Restoration Exchange Omaha), we are renewing our focus to seek out, team up with, preserve and save places that embrace and celebrate all people and all stories throughout the entire metropolitan area. Although we recognize and admire the grand edifices of the past, they do not represent the total sum of preservation in our community. We know the story of a place involves its connection to the past - decades upon decades of evolving culture, the history of individuals and families who lived there, the businesses that flourished then waned, its sacred places of worship, the demonstrations that took place on its street corners, its food, dance, music, art and soul.
