What We Do

Collaborating with others in our community Orphans and Widows of Omaha provides hands-on experiences, support and service for our widowed of all ages and young adults 18-26. By changing one life at a time we can change generations. Multi-generational environment includes volunteers, mentors, and widowed of all ages. We offer young adults opportunities to learn life skills: cooking, sewing, home maintenance, parenting and communication. We offer a “safe place” to practice new found skills. Volunteers and mentors share real life experiences to help all thrive. All services and support we offer are free to the young adult and widowed.
