What We Do

The Nebraska Mission of Mercy program provides care to the uninsured, the under-insured and anyone who otherwise has difficulty getting to a dentist. Those who show up for care, children and adults, and don't have any medically compromising condition that would prohibit them from receiving care, are seen on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Dentists from all over the area give of their time, talent, energy and love for the project. All of their services are donated. Many of them bring their office staff and personal office supplies to help make the event a great success. The mission is set up as a 100 chair dental clinic with many different areas of dental services provided, including oral surgery, restorative, hygiene, pediatrics, endodontics, radiology, and lab where dentures and partial teeth are made.

Oral health care is about more than a sparkling smile. New research shows links between gum disease and bigger problems like heart attacks, diabetes, mental disease, and oral cancer. We continue change lives by providing new smiles!

Interesting Info

Since 2005 we have seen over 16,000 people and provided over $6 million in free care.
In 2003, the World Health Organization stated that dental disease is the most prevalent chronic illness worldwide.
We would like to provide more than $1 million in care at our next mission.
