What We Do

Nebraska Border Collie Rescue (NBCR) provides rescue, rehabilitation, foster and placement to Border Collies and Border Collie mixes in and around Nebraska.

Since 1999, NBCR has been an entirely volunteer run organization. We are a small group of volunteers who rescue, foster, and adopt border collies. We provide transport, socialization, and rehabilitation for dogs as well as life saving veterinary care.
We strive to place dogs in forever homes, making the best possible match between dog and adopter to reduce the need for rescue in the future. Our adoption process includes an application, reference checks, & home visits.

Interesting Info

We help find forever homes for 20-30 dogs per year.
