What We Do

Men of Bethany in America (MOBIA) provides mentoring programs for boys and men currently in the greater Nebraska and Iowa area. MOBIA forms partnerships with community churches, shelters, missions, jails, and schools.
The cycle of single parents and absent fathers influencing young and adult men has destructive potential outcomes. MOBIA promotes and reinforces personal self-respect through the building of self-worth, continuing education, communication skills, and potential employment career services. MOBIA does this by identifying men in need of a brotherhood of men helping men. These personal relationships re-establishes self dignity, hope, love, grace, and the ability for them to be a better man, father and husband. For the first time in their lives they have a network of men who understand the qualities of an authentic successful man.

Interesting Info

We have work with 200 men a week.
MOBIA has collaborated with Open Door Mission, Omaha Street School, Douglas County Jail and neighborhoods.
Our goal is to provide premier services by training new mentors to work with more men in need.
