What We Do

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) seeks ways to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
LLS has helped millions impacted by cancer throughout our almost 70 year history, funding breakthrough research to advance lifesaving treatments and cures, and providing support and advocacy for patients.
Our investment of more than $1.2 billion in research makes us leaders in advancing breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics and personalized medicine. Treatments developed for blood cancers are now helping people affected by many different types of cancer.
With our co-pay financial assistance program, we’ve provided $362 million to patients in financial need.

Interesting Info

We've distributed 1.2 million in our last fiscal year to patients in Nebraska.
LLS has helped advance 50 of the 57 blood cancer treatment options approved by the FDA.
Beating cancer is in our blood!
