What We Do
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) seeks ways to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families. In Nebraska, the impact of LLS reached 280 households during 2020. LLS has helped millions impacted by cancer throughout our almost 72 year history, funding breakthrough research to advance lifesaving treatments and cures, and providing support and advocacy for patients. Our investment of more than $1.3 billion in research makes us leaders in advancing breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics and personalized medicine. Treatments developed for blood cancers are now helping people affected by many different types of cancer. With our co-pay financial assistance program, we’ve provided $431 million to patients in financial need.
Interesting Info
