Heartland REACT

REACT primarily works as an extension of local Emergency Management and National Weather Service. It's primary purpose is dedicated to public safety in all types of situations. We also help with Heart Walk, Omaha Corporate Cup Run, Offutt Air Show, Corporate Cycling Challenge, various parades and many other events in a 40 mile radius. Although many of these events are non-emergency, we are able to help those who have emergency needs by providing radio contact with the event coordinators. Heartland REACT is assisting with flood relief effort tasks including sand bagging, traffic control, and setting up emergency shelters.
