What We Do

The Jeanette Hunt Animal Shelter in Blair, NE offers save refuge for homeless, abandoned, and orphaned companion animals. Our mission is to serve these animal with dignity and respect by treating each animal based on it’s individual needs. Approximately 700 animals are served each year through adoptions, medical treatment, spay/neuter services, reuniting lost pets with their owners, animal behavior assistance, and more. Our goal is to expand our reach providing much needed services and education on behalf of the animals.

Interesting Info

We have trapped, neutered, and returned 500 cats this year.
We have a successful neonatal kitten program.
We hope to provide an animal behavior helpline in the future.
