What We Do

The Black Votes Matter Institute of Community Engagement informs, educates, and inspires the next generation of leaders through a highly interactive and engaged BVM Tour to Memphis, Jackson, Birmingham, Selma, Montgomery, Tuskegee, and Atlanta. Donations contribute to scholarships for youth to attend. While focused on creating the next generation of youth for sustained change, the BVM Institute also conducts year around voter education, registration, and Get Out the Vote (GOTV) initiatives while raising the quality of life for all with an emphasis on the economically disadvantaged, diverse, and multi-ethnic populations.

Interesting Info

We support North Omaha, the Omaha metro area, and greater Nebraska.
We conducted a Virtual Civil Rights Movement Tour that reached over 5,000 views in 2 weeks.
We develop youth to understand history, respect history, then go make history!
