What We Do
Black and Pink is a prison abolitionist organization dedicated to dismantling the criminal punishment system and the harms caused to LGBTQ people and people living with HIV who are affected by the system through advocacy, support, and organizing.
Black and Pink is a national organization with a strong grassroots network of 13 volunteer-led chapters and more than 20,000 current and formerly incarcerated LGBTQIAS2+ and people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) members located across the country.

We send a newsletter six times a year to inside members to ensure access to information and resources.
Our goal is to dismantle the prison industrial complex and build a world that is healthy, safe, and nurturing for our people.
