What We Do
Arts For All is a nonprofit arts education organization dedicated to making the arts available and affordable for all. Established in 2006, Arts For All provides quality culturally-enriched fine arts classes to children, youth, and adults throughout the Omaha metro area and surrounding communities. Arts For All serves students of all ages and abilities. To date, over 25,000 people from the metro-area have learned to play instruments, dance ballet, participated in community-theater, and created masterpieces through Arts For All programs.
Arts For All offers diverse fine arts education through small-group classes in three semesters yearly; six weeks in the summer, 12 weeks in the fall, and 14 weeks in the winter/spring. Classes include, but are not limited to, violin, piano, percussion, guitar, voice, theater, filmmaking, dance, and a huge variety of visual arts. Weekly classes are held at several locations in Omaha, Bellevue, Papillion, and Elkhorn. Arts For All also puts on skill-building programs, workshops, and special events.
At Arts For All, a student is never turned away for inability to pay tuition. Families with demonstrated financial need are eligible for scholarships and sliding-scale fees. This means that families do not have to face a financial struggle in allowing their child to learn an instrument or dance ballet. So often, fine arts are considered “extras” when it comes to student education, and are often the first programs to be cut when school budgets are tight. Arts For All is dedicated to encouraging personal growth and enhancing the lives of area youth by removing barriers and making quality arts education classes available and affordable for all.
