The 712 Initiative is aimed at improving the economic vitality in redevelopment areas through investments in the built environment, activating public spaces and delivering programs that increase social engagement and healthy lifestyles.

Unlike other economic growth and community support organizations, we do not receive any government funding for our operations - we are powered by people like you!

We promote growth by taking on the "hard" development projects – the one that no one wants to touch, we transform neighborhoods one house, one downtown development at a time. Our events and programming (Farmers Market Council Bluffs, Adopt a Street, Clean Sweep, Creektop Community Gardens, Celebrate CB parade, Shamrock Shuffle, BIKEtober, Block Party Trailer, Backyard Movie Night, 100 Block Holiday Lights, AMP for Neighborhoods, Housing Revitalization Program, Downtown Revitalization Fund) hold the fabric of our community together, all to promote viable economic, social, and health success.
