Event:
No Till Farming
Have you ever wondered what it takes to operate a no till farm? Join Conservation Nebraska for an event with local farmer Angela Knuth, who will be discussing her family farm and the no till operation they employ on their land.
Angela has been farming for thirty years. She farms with her husband Kerry and her two sons in Mead, Nebraska. The Knuth’s raise corn, soybeans, wheat, alfalfa, oats, and market an average of 5500 small square straw bales a year. Their focus is on quality
productions by adopting new technology, implementing data analytics, pursuing sustainable farming systems, and introducing traceability into the supply chain at the farm level.
The Knuth Family started reducing tillage in 2005. In 2019 they adopted no till on all acres.
