- Administration/office assistance (data entry, tracking information, scanning, labeling, mailing, filing)
- Education assistance (set-up and clean-up of programs and events, supply preparation, assistance with crafts, other needs)
- Front door greeter
- Exhibit docent (provide interpretation of an exhibit)
- Garden tour guide (for adult and children's tours)
- Indoor horticulture (propagation, watering, transplanting) [year-round]
- Outdoor horticulture (weeding, mulching, pruning, deadheading) [April through November only]
- Model railroad garden engineer (run trains, clean tracks, assist visitors) [May through October only]
- Photography (capture the beauty of the garden)
