Do you like to play games? Have you wanted to build your own game?

Introducing JavaScript Games, a free code class at DoSpace for middle/high school students of marginalized gender.

During this course, students will learn:
- JavaScript
- Game Development
- Make Code Arcade

**** Eligible applicants ****
This application is due by January 28.

This class is for middle and high school students, with preference for students of marginalized gender who have taken the prerequisite Intro to JavaScript.

Sundays, Feb 13th through May, 15th, with breaks on March 13th and April 17th (12 weeks) from 1:00PM - 3:30 PM at DoSpace.

Mystery Code Society has a Code of Conduct (https://mysterycodesociety.com/code-of-conduct.html) with a mission to champion gender equity in tech for people of marginalized gender. All students and volunteers are expected to abide by the Code of Conduct.

We will inform students of the status of their application the week of January 31.



**** COVID information ****
This class plans to meet in person. Masks are required at all times. We ask all students and staff who are not feeling well to stay home, and there is no penalty for missing class due to sickness. We will be following all CDC guidelines for contact tracing and quarantining in the event of an outbreak. If there is an outbreak, classes might be canceled or delayed.
