The Ambassador Council exists to provide support to History Nebraska Foundation’s fundraising and awareness campaigns, provide critical input and feedback regarding the Foundation’s campaigns and initiatives, and utilize specialized knowledge and talents on behalf of the History Nebraska Foundation.

Purpose:
o Engage with friends of the foundation who serve as community liaisons and advocates and volunteer their time, contribute financially as able, and offer their unique talents to further the goals of History Nebraska and the History Nebraska Foundation.
o Provide an avenue for History Nebraska Board of Trustees alumni to engage with History Nebraska, allowing them to continue to share their experience, wisdom, and expertise in furtherance of the goals of History Nebraska and the History Nebraska Foundation.
o Serve as a vetting ground for potential History Nebraska Foundation board members.
o Increase History Nebraska Foundation’s reach and network of potential donors through council member connections and introductions.
o Provide increased opportunities to individuals interested in working with the leadership of History Nebraska and History Nebraska Foundation.
o Expand and diversify the voices and experiences serving in leadership roles with History Nebraska Foundation.
