Habitat for Humanity of Omaha

Earlier this month, the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a global pandemic. All of us are being asked to take all available steps to contribute to lessening the anticipated spread of this illness and subsequent demand on health care facilities. Habitat for Humanity of Omaha will be cancelling all volunteer shifts in the office, at both ReStore locations and on all construction sites for the foreseeable future. As new developments unfold, we will reevaluate the situation and keep you updated on our evolving plan. We are grateful for your spirit and desire to serve. We are asking that in these uncertain times, you focus on keeping yourself safe and free from infection. We are all navigating uncharted territory with the spread of COVID-19 and Habitat Omaha is no exception. We remain hopeful that this will be a short term shut down of volunteer service and will be looking forward to your smiling faces when things are safer for everyone.
