Grief Facilitator Training (Virtual)

Are you ready to help plant seeds of hope? Consider becoming a Support Group Facilitator with The Collective for Hope, and learn how to companion those grieving in our community. Develop a better understanding of grieving and its implications on behavior, attitude, esteem, and self-actualization. Improve your knowledge and skills personally and professionally.

Topics include: Grief & Loss Theories; Working with Children, Adolescents, & Adults; Group Dynamics; Navigating Suicide & Traumatic Death; Developing Group Activities; Utilizing the TCFH Curriculum; Communication Skills; Diversity and Inclusion of Grievers; Healthy Coping Skills, and much more!

Spring 2021 Virtual Training Days and Times:
Fridays and Saturdays
March 19, 20 & March 26, 27
12:00-4:30 PM each day
Four hours of home study

Pricing Options:
$300 Professional/Student Rate20 CEUs awarded (approximately $15 per CEU)16 contact hours and 4 hours of home study.

$75 Lay-person/Volunteer RateNo CEUs awarded Future Facilitator Scholarship RateA few scholarships are available for individuals who demonstrate financial need and promise as a future facilitator. Contact Bre at bthompson@griefsjourney.org for more info.

Registrations accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Maximum capacity is 25 participants for the virtual 4-day workshop.
