At Ease USA Facing PTSD Together Continuing Education Conference

The Facing PTSD Together conference will offer participants 7.5 continuing education credits. Speakers will address topics such as Brainspotting; Children, Families & Trauma; Serving those Who Serve; Outdoor Adventure & Mental Health, Attention Training for PTSD Intervention and Nebraska 2021 Mental Health Practice Regulation Updates. Early bird registration closes September 15th and is $225 which includes breakfast and lunch. Regular registration closes on October 8, 2021.

The keynote luncheon speaker is Dr. Kevin Nadal who will address Microaggression and Trauma. He will discuss how microaggressions negatively influence people’s mental health, while also understanding how systems are often retraumatizing for historically marginalized groups. Tickets to the luncheon are available to the general public at a cost of $75.

At Ease USA (AEU) supports active military members, veterans, families and individuals facing Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder with confidential, research-based, cost-effective treatment. AEU has formed a network of expert providers that includes clinicians, outpatient therapists, peer support and support groups. AEU is not affiliated with any branch of the government of the Department of Veterans Affairs.
