The Foster Kitten Project's mission is to increase public awareness about abandoned and orphaned kittens that need to be bottle fed, while decreasing the overpopulation of cats. It’s sad, but true, that kittens less than one pound are one of the largest groups of animals euthanized every year. They are very fragile and expensive to care for, and such a high risk category that shelters often don’t have the staff or resources to care for them.
