The event features elaborate orchid displays so that visitors can see a diverse array of prime orchid specimens up close. Displays and individual specimens are juried by experienced orchid judges sanctioned by the American Orchid Society. Attendees can ask local orchid experts specific questions and gain beneficial knowledge on these beautiful plants. Learn about requirements for these special flowers such as light, moisture, temperature, air movement, humidity, problems and pests, potting media, fertilizing and repotting. And patrons may purchase plants to take home from local, regional and national vendors and growers. This event features inventory that you won't find just anywhere! Included with paid garden admission ($10 adults, $5 children 6-12), free for children under 6 and garden members.
